Lil Wayne May Have Fathered Another Child, GrandMother Files for Paternity

Posted by yoMcLovin on November 10, 2010

Lil Wayne might have his freedom but while he was incarcerated he was hit with a paternity suit:

Lil Wayne may have a lil illegitimate kid running around — this according to a Missouri woman who hit Weezy with paternity papers while the rapper was serving time at Rikers Island.

Weezy — who’s already fathered 4 kids that he’s aware of — allegedly sired another child back in 2002 … and now the 8-year-old’s grandmother obtained a court order requiring Wayne to submit to a DNA test.

According to the legal papers, obtained by TMZ, Weezy was supposed to get tested before September 10, 2010 … but since he was behind bars at the time he got the letter (dated August 20), the judge pushed the deadline to December 9.

The woman going after Wayne doesn’t  explain why her daughter isn’t pursuing the test herself — in fact, the birth mother’s name isn’t even listed on the documents.

Calls to Wayne’s camp have not been returned.

Lil Wayne Placed In Solitary Confinement

Posted by yoMcLovin on October 5, 2010

Lil Wayne is one hard-headed joker.  Weezy’s been placed in the hole for violating the rules once again:

*With about a month left to go before his prison bid ends, Lil Wayne got caught again with a pair of headphones and a charger for an MP3 player and was moved to solitary confinement as punishment.  Another inmate was reportedly hiding the MP3 player.

TMZ is reporting that the rapper, who’s been locked up on Rikers Island since March on a gun-possession charge, will now have less interaction with inmates and spend up to 23 hours a day in an isolation cell.

His out-of-cell time is limited to religious services and one hour of recreational time, and his phone privileges also have been reduced to just one personal phone call a week.

The new report mirrors a similar incident in May, when Lil Wayne was busted for having a charger, headphones and a watch that doubled as an MP3 player in his jail cell.

No word on whether this recent setback will affect his release date, which is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 4.

If he is freed on that day, rumor had it that the rapper would hold a concert Nov. 5 at New York’s Madison Square Garden, where he last performed before he turned himself in to authorities. But the head of his label, Cash Money Records’ Bryan “Baby” Williams, said earlier Monday that while plans for Wayne’s post-prison celebration are still being worked out, they’ll most likely take place in Miami, not New York.

Rikers Island: Another Corrections Officer accused of showing favoritism to Lil Wayne

Posted by yoMcLovin on September 6, 2010

(AllHipHop News) A guard on Rikers Island could face disciplinary action for allegedly giving superstar rapper Lil Wayne preferential treatment in the prison.

An investigation has been launched over the alleged actions of Captain Latanya Brown, who is accused of spending extra time with Lil Wayne.

Additionally, the New York Post reports that Captain Brown allegedly allowed the rapper to stay in his cell, while other inmates were ordered out of their bunks and into the recreation yard.

The prison has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to showing favoritism towards any inmate.

In April, just one month after the rapper started his year-long sentence for attempted criminal possession of a weapon, a guard at the complex was fired for allegedly spying on Lil Wayne.

Amelia Negron was fired for glimpsing at Lil Wayne, although she denied the charges, claiming her union boss forced her to make a confession.

This is not the first time a rapper has caused controversy on Rikers Island.

In June of 2009, it was revealed that Foxy Brown allegedly received preferential treatment during her 9-month stay on Rikers Island in 2006.

The rapper held a photo shoot and allegedly received unlimited phone/TV use, makeup, luxury clothing and outside meals.

In October of 2009, Correction Chief Peter Curcio and a Rabbi named Leib Glanz resigned over the scandal, after the Brown reports, in addition to allegations that Rabbi Glanz arranged a lavish bar mitzvah for an inmates son.
