Can Men and Women be JUST Friends????

Posted by yoMcLovin on February 22, 2011

Can Men and Women be JUST friends?

This is a question that has probably plagued mankind since the beginning of mankind.

If Adam and Eve called it quits with each other after that whole forbidden apple fiasco, could they still have remained friends and moved on with their separate love lives?.

Would Adam have felt some type of way seeing her with another man?. The man did give up a rib for her creation. Just imagine Adam meeting Steve (Eve’s new lover), I think the conversation may have went something like this:

Adam: Hey your Eve’s guy right wait wait it’s Maurice right?
Steve: Nah bro it’s Steve
Adam: oh yeah my bad that was the other guy, so anyway what’s up with you two I hear y’all are kicking it hard these days
Steve: well yeah we are things are actually going…….
(Adam cuts Steve off)
Adam: Btw I gave Eve one of my ribs.

Steve: Oh really
Adam: Dude I totally created her oh she didn’t tell you? if it weren’t for me she’d be a fish or something. But anyway man nice talking to you I have to roll. Tell Eve the rib-man said wad’up holla.

Or

Would Eve had been a vindictive (female dog in heat) by attempting to sabotage any relationship Adam was in by spreading false rumors around town?. She did at one point in time have the sole responsibility of creating mankind. If Eve had a Facebook I think some of her statuses would have looked like this:

What’s on your mind?: N.A.S LOL SB: where my dolls at? We out tonight…we bad you mad. Just get like us TAGGED: Shawquisha Jones, Mary TheVirgin Madelene

What’s on your mind?: my ex going to call me today talking bout can he see me #lame SB: me and my boy headed out to Jerusalem for the weekend no broke dudes over here

What’s on your mind?: My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard TAGGED: Adam

“Eve comments on Adam’s status”
What’s on your mind?: Club Sodom with the babe did 1 thing
Eve Likes this
Comment
Eve says:
Lol 🙂
Adam says:
What’s funny
Eve says:
Nothing you take all your girls there huh? Tell that b*tch to stay off my page too you better tell her before I do Adam

Crazy right? LOL

So maybe the question isn’t “Can men and women be JUST friends?”, maybe the question is “Can men and women with HISTORY be JUST friends”. I don’t think it’s possible. Me personally I have been on both sides of the fence. I just wanted to be friends and the female wanted more and vice versa. So I don’t think men and women can be JUST friends especially when they have a history together. I think this is because no matter how bad the past relationship was one of the two will still have some sort of feelings for the other, and those feelings will show through envy and hatred.

So if your thinking about being friends with you ex, be wary of the repercussions and bullsh*t that comes with it.

Michael Jordan: ‘I Could Have Scored 100 Points In Today’s NBA’

Posted by yoMcLovin on October 15, 2010

Michael Jordan is by far the greatest player to have ever played this game.  He believes that he could have dropped 100 points in today’s game.  Find out why

In the buildup to the release of the NBA 2K11 video game, Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan (who is prominently featured in the game, and in the advertising hyping up the game), sat down with USA Today’s Game Hunters blog to discuss Michael Jordan.

This snippet stood out:

How has the game changed from your playing days?
It’s less physical and the rules have changed, obviously. Based on these rules, if I had to play with my style of play, I’m pretty sure I would have fouled out or I would have been at the free throw line pretty often and I could have scored 100 points.

Yeah.

Michael Jordan’s the greatest player ever. His presence on my hometown team is the reason I do what I do for a living, and I’d be one of the dozens to go broke in betting against him. But I’m betting against him. He wouldn’t have gotten 100. He needed overtime to make it to 69 points, once, and that was his career high.

And, yes, in a league with a few more possessions per game, and in a world without overt hand-checking, yes, Michael Jordan would have scored more in this era than he actually did in the 1980s and 1990s.

But he wouldn’t have scored 100. Why? Because Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point game was an absolute farce.

Wilt was a 7-2 dominant force going up against a 6-10 backup center on the New York Knicks back in 1962. He was able to put up 63 shots and attempt 32 free throws mainly because the pace was so, so much faster back in that era, and because his Philadelphia Warriors team was intentionally fouling the Knicks down the stretch in order to get Wilt the ball every time down court in a contest that was a 16-point game at the end of the first quarter.

It was an absolute joke of a “contest,” and though Wilt is to be commended for his brilliance, there’s a reason why nobody has come very close in the 48 years since Wilt’s 100-point game.

The closest? Kobe Bryant, in a performance that I think was more impressive than Wilt’s, mainly because he wasn’t a man amongst boys (just an MVP-level performer, playing against a pretty crummy team in the Toronto Raptors), and because 90 percent of his points came in competitive action. His Lakers (beyond Kobe, they were very, very bad back then) were losing through 2 1/2 quarters, and until the final couple of minutes, the Lakers needed every one of Kobe’s 81 points.

On top of that, Bryant made 7-13 3-pointers on his way to 81. That’s the quickest way toward 100, these days, and Jordan was never much of a 3-point shooter — 29 percent career, when you take away the nearly 2 1/2 seasons Jordan played with the shorter 22-foot 3-point line. Sure, hand-checks would send you to the line more often, but that many times? Enough to get to 100?

It’s OK to “just” be the best ever, MJ. It’s OK to be the all-around player you were. And it’s OK to wonder if you could top Kobe’s 81. But 100 points? Who cares? Wilt’s night was impressive, but it was an aberration. A freak show. A gimmick, and not entirely the proudest moment in this league’s history (again, the Warriors fouled the Knicks to get the ball back!).

It’s OK, MJ. They’re still making video games about you. Nobody’s forgotten anything.

Irv Gotti says Nicki Minaj “Is as talented as my other girl Lauryn Hill” ~> Nicki responds to the statement…..WOW

Posted by yoMcLovin on August 27, 2010

Last month, Murder Inc. Boss Irv Gotti compared Nicki Minaj to Lauryn Hill in an interview with VIBE. Today, TSHB published Nick’s response to Irv’s proclamation. Forgive them father.

1st read what Irv had to say!

“The world has yet to see the best of Nicki Minaj. What she’s delivering to the world now is basically what they want. But I know that she’s a super talented superstar who can do anything at a high level—rap, sing, act, whatever she wants to do. This is just the beginning of Nicki Minaj. Her best is yet to come. In my opinion she is as talented as my other girl Lauryn Hill. They have completely different styles. But as far as the talent is concerned they both can do it all. Nicki just isn’t showing it yet ’cause she doesn’t want to. But world be prepared ’cause she’s the truth!”

Nicki’s Response!!

“Irv has been privy to hear things that I’ve done that the world hasn’t heard,” she says. “Based on the music I have out now, that sounds like an absurd comment, but when ‘Pink Friday’ comes out, you will completely understand why Irv made that comparison.”

Nicki you are hot and you are holding onto that flaming torch at the moment but don’t forget all the “GREATS” that held it before you and made it possible for you to even be here. #imjustsaying
