Beyonce Prego?

Posted by T.K Taylor on October 20, 2010

This Rumor has been flowing through Radio stations and Blogs ever since this morning (October 20) thanks to a report claiming that pop/R&B singer Beyonce Knowles is pregnant. According to Us Weekly the singer is already in her first trimester.

The singer was shocked. She loves kids, but she isnt ready to be a mother just yet,” a source revealed to Us Weekly. Beyonce really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again.

Another source revealed that news of Beyonce’s possible pregnancy was “a gift from God” and that the 29-year-old singer is “so happy” right now.

Although this will be the couple’s first child Beyonce already has the support of many including her sister Solange Knowles.

“She’s got the most beautiful heart,” revealed Solange Knowles when asked about her old sister and motherhood. “She’ll be a great mom.”

Jay-Z and Beyonce have been togeather for hell of a long time; they been togeather since the middle of 2002, and were married in April of 2008. Beyonce or Jay-Z has confirmed the pregnancy rumor.

Just another kid born with a “Gold Spoon” in his/her mouth. – No Disrespect.

Kanye West Says He Considered Suicide

Posted by T.K Taylor on October 19, 2010

At the Los Angeles premiere of Kanye’s film, Runaway, He reveled just how broken hearted he has been since the loss of his mother and the public backlash against him for what happened at the 2009 VMA’s. “There were times that I contemplated suicide,” West said. Referring to himself as a “soldier for culture,” Kanye added, “I will not give up on life again. There’s so many people that will never get the chance to have their voice heard…I do it for them.”

During the presentation of his 35-minute, abstract film, West made references to his influence on Pop culture and how music and art has helped him deal with loss.

“There were times that I contemplated suicide,” West said. Referring to himself as a “soldier for culture,” Kanye added, “I will not give up on life again. There’s so many people that will never get the chance to have their voice heard…I do it for them.

“Everything has been taken away from me,” Kanye said. “I’m so not…scared. I so don’t care.”

From his weekly release of free music, to his recent Twitter presence, West called the period during which Runaway and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy were crafted his “creative sweet spot.” As reported earlier, Runaway will hit the screen Saturday, October 23. The companion album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is scheduled for a November 22 release.

Sounds to me that Kanye’s been through alot this past year and is trying to make up for lost times and fan’s broken hearts… Hopefully everything will work out just fine.

Dr. Marc Lamont Hill vs. Philadelphia Police Department

Posted by yoMcLovin on October 15, 2010

Dr. Marc Lamont Hill Files $1Million Lawsuit Against The Philadelphia Police Department

Many of you might remember Dr. Marc Lamont Hill for the eloquent way he addressed Slim Thug’s ignorant comments towards black women.  Well this brother is back in the news and suing the shyte out of the Philadelphia Police (PIGS) department for harrassment.

Peep game

(AllHipHop News) Dr. Marc Lamont Hill, a Hip-Hop intellectual and associate college professor, has filed a $1 million dollar lawsuit against the Philadelphia police, claiming officers are harassing him.

Dr. Hill, an Associate Professor at Columbia University at Teachers College, filed the lawsuit in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, claiming that two officers harassed him.

Dr. Hill, who is currently a political contributor for Fox News Channel, regularly appears on programs such as The O’Reilly FactorHuckabee, and Hannity in addition to being featured on other channels like CNNMSNBC, and CourtTV

According to the lawsuit, the incident unfolded on June 17th in the city of Philadelphia, when Dr. Hill to produce his vehicle registration, to which Hill complied.

After questioning why he was being stopped, Officer Decoatsworth allegedly yanked Hill out of the car by his arm, pushed his fist into his back and asked Hill if he “could afford” his vehicle.

As this occurred, another unnamed officer searched through Hill’s vehicle without his consent.

Officer DeCoatsworth then told Hill to “get out of this neighborhood and go home” and never charged the professor with a crime.

Dr. Hill, who is a resident of Philadelphia, earned his P.H.D from the University of Pennsylvania. He claims the officers violated his First, Fourth and Fourteenth Amendment rights.

“The Constitutional violations suffered by Plaintiff were the result of the City’s policies, procedures, customs and practices of allowing its officers to make stops without reasonable suspicion, and to use unreasonable and excessive force thereby violating the civil rights of those with whom they come into contact,” Hill’s lawyer Leonard K. Hill said in court papers.

Dr. Marc Lamont-Hill recently made headlines when he responded to an editorial Slim Thug wrote about his opinion on relationships with black women, in Vibe Magazine.

Dr. Hill has also been featured on television on a regular basis, where he has discussed a variety of topics, including Hip-Hop culture.

He is seeking a trial by jury, suing the Philadelphia Police Department for at least $1 million dollars.

Undercover sting nets two city cops

Posted by yoMcLovin on October 7, 2010

It started with an unrelated drug case. A person arrested recently said 25th District cops were mixed up in the narcotics trade. Word got to Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey via the Attorney General’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigations, so he personally called District Attorney Seth Williams. A sting was arranged.

On Monday night, police officers Sean Alivera and Christopher Luciano were arrested for allegedly attempting to rob someone they thought was a drug dealer who turned out to be an undercover city cop. Investigators said the officers intended to have an unnamed dealer they knew resell 20 pounds of marijuana they took.

Williams said some of the stolen $3,000 was in the officers’ pockets when they were arrested, in uniform, at the 25th District precinct. The undercover officer was still being held there.

“People think it’s OK to rob a drug dealer or to rape a prostitute because they won’t report it to police,” Williams said. “It’s not. For a police officer to do so is appalling.”

Ramsey said Alivera, 31, and Luciano, 23, “were not on our radar” before the investigation was initiated. Internal Affairs will investigate the partners’ previous arrests for any wrongdoing. “I can’t stand here and rule that out,” said Ramsey, noting the department will dismiss the officers and remove their badges from future service. “Losing a job is the least of their worries right now.”

The officers face robbery, kidnapping, false imprisonment and other charges.

Cleaning house

Asked about similarities between this case and three officers — including one from the 25th — arrested in July for allegedly shaking down a heroin dealer who turned out to be an undercover DEA agent, Ramsey said his anti-corruption push “could get worse before it gets better. We wouldn’t have to clean house if it wasn’t dirty in the first place.”

Two Philly Cops Rob Undercover Cop For $24,000 Marijuana & $3,000 In Cash!

Posted by yoMcLovin on October 7, 2010

People wonder why folks don’t like cops…well here’s a prime example.  These two d*ck-heads robbed an undercover cop for $24,000 of marijuana and $3,000 in cash.

Peep game

Two Philadelphia police officers have been charged with criminal conspiracy, robbery, kidnapping, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, theft, and other related charges, according to officials.

Sean Alivera, 31, and Christopher Luciano, 23, allegedly robbed a supposed drug dealer of 20 pounds of marijuana with a street value of $24,000 as well as $3,000 in cash. It turns out that the man they thought was a drug dealer was actually an undercover officer.

Authorities also believe that the two planned to have the drugs redistributed on the street by an un-named drug dealer.

“These two men are a disgrace to their badges, but they should not reflect on the hard working men and women in the police department,” said Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams.

At least five Philadelphia officers have been accused or convicted in the past year of trying to rob drug dealers. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey reportedly plans to clean house in the 6,600-member department.

“As far as corrupt cops, if they want to continue to do what they’re doing we will find them, we will arrest them and they will be prosecuted, period,” said Ramsey. “There is no middle ground here. Absolutely none.”

Beanie Sigel News – First foreclosure, now Tax evasion “C’mon Son”

Posted by yoMcLovin on October 7, 2010

The “great opportunity” asking price for the brick Colonial in Landsale with two fireplaces, skylights and 9-foot ceilings was $349,000. Yet even though the opening price at the Montgomery County sheriff’s sale was just the property’s $264,000 mortgage debt, nobody bid.

So a Utah bank simply took back the deed for the house of Dwight Grant, aka Beanie Sigel.

By yesterday, the foreclosure was the least of his problems. U.S. Attorney David Memeger announced his office charged the 36-year-old with failing to file tax returns from 2002 to 2004. An IRS investigation determined he earned more than $1.54 million during that time. The minimum income to file is less than $24,000.

Though Grant faces three years in federal prison, a $300,000 fine and one-year supervised release, his attorney Fortunato Perri Jr. said they’ve been working with the government to resolve the tax issues and “hope to do so in the near future.”

“There’s no question he didn’t file the returns. It was from a time when he was struggling with earlier criminal problems and others were handling his money while he was incarcerated,” Perri said. “Someone put hands on his money when they shouldn’t have.”

Grant was sentenced to a year and a day in prison after being guilty of federal weapons charges in Oct. 2004. The initial foreclosure filing was Halloween 2007.

“He’s alright. It’s something he was aware of,” Perri said of Grant’s reaction.
